Beacon Health System's Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN seeks a Full-Time Evening/Night Shift Nurse Educator to support professional development and education services. The Nurse Educator will lead competency-based orientation, continuing education, and in-service training for nursing staff.

You will assess learning needs, develop evidence-based curricula, and serve as an educational resource for associates, leaders, physicians, and committees while advancing patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• Two years nursing experience.
• CPR Instructor certification required; may be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess educational needs and address practice gaps via staff education programs.
• Plan and evaluate orientation and competency-based training.
• Develop lesson plans, materials, and assessments aligned to requirements.
• Provide education to associates, leaders, physicians, and committees.
• Monitor learner progress and recommend practice improvements.
