As a Nurse Educator, you'll report to the Director/Manager and lead the assessment, planning, coordination, and evaluation of competency‑based orientation, continuing education, and in‑service programs for nursing staff. You'll identify educational and practice gaps, develop evidence‑based learning strategies, and deliver engaging education to support quality, safety, and professional development. You'll serve as an educational resource for associates, leaders, physicians, committees, and other partners while monitoring learner progress and recommending improvements to nursing practice and standards. You'll also contribute to policies, procedures, quality initiatives, and special projects that advance patient care and organizational goals.
As a Nurse Educator, you'll bring a strong foundation in professional nursing practice along with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing others. You'll bring the ability to assess learning needs, analyze practice gaps, and translate evidence‑based nursing knowledge into effective education for diverse learners. You'll demonstrate strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills while building positive relationships with associates, leaders, physicians, and other stakeholders.
