Location: Based out of HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital, supporting Citrus, Oak Hill, and Trinity Hospitals.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, office hours.

The Nurse Educator enhances professional practice and quality patient care by providing evidence-based educational programs for nursing and clinical staff. Responsibilities include:

1. Developing, managing, and evaluating onboarding and orientation programs.
2. Collaborating on competency development and evaluation.
3. Designing educational activities to address practice gaps.
4. Promoting evidence-based practice and participating in research and quality improvement.
5. Supporting lifelong learning and staff skill development.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• 2+ years in clinical education, academia, or leadership (preferred)
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to travel up to 25%
