Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking Core Nursing Faculty to join its growing team. The role focuses on teaching didactic and clinical nursing courses, maintaining program outcomes, and mentoring both faculty and students.

The position requires a graduate degree in nursing (or related discipline) and a minimum of three years of RN experience, with a current RN license. CN Educator certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; if not in nursing, must have a nursing-related graduate degree.
• Minimum of three years' work experience as a professional registered nurse.
• Current, unencumbered RN license or relevant state compact license.
• Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing preferred.
• Maintains professional competence through ongoing education and activities.
• Subject to state BON/BRN/HEB regulation where campus located.

Responsibilities

• Leads didactic and clinical instruction for nursing students.
• Plans, teaches, and evaluates classroom, clinical, skills labs and other learning experiences.
• Mentors faculty, adjuncts, and students; fosters leadership and ethics within the program.
• Maintains FERPA training and upholds student privacy guidelines.
• Contributes to program governance and policy development; participates in faculty meetings and in-service offerings.
• Supports student progression, retention, and graduation policies.
