Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in clinical education or leadership preferred.
- RN license in state of practice or compact state license required.
- BLS required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Participates in onboarding and orientation program development and evaluation.
- Provides onboarding programs to promote retention.
- Collaborates with Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs.
- Develops and manages competency activities for staff.
- Designs educational activities to address practice gaps for licensed and non-licensed staff.
- Plans content delivery to engage learners and improve outcomes.
- Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in research and quality improvement.
- Supports lifelong learning and staff skill maturation.
- Identifies opportunities for staff skill enhancement.
