Job summary

The Miami VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse-Educator for the Community Living Center. This role focuses on evidence-based education, staff development, and leadership within a VA academic hospital program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program with active US nursing license.
• BSN required; MSN preferred for educator roles.
• Experience in nurse education and staff development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert education to nursing staff in clinical and outpatient units.
• Develop and implement learning plans and curricula for staff and residency programs.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for simulations and emergency response training.
