Qualifications

• ADN/BSN/MSN recognized by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation.
• Education from USDE-recognized accredited institutions is required for Federal employment.
• Foreign education requires a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with transcript for credit.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert, evidence-based education to staff.
• Delivers educational instruction and training for clinical staff in inpatient and outpatient units.
• Performs learning needs assessments and develops trainings for clinical staff.
• Assists with orientation of new employees and develops learning plans.
• Trains for Redi program including BLS and ACLS instruction.
• Monitors BLS/ALS compliance and supports emergency responses.
• Develops curricula using simulation, lectures, case studies, and VR.
• Collaborates with leadership and interprofessional teams on education activities.
