The incumbent will assess learning needs, deliver trainings, and support nurse residency initiatives while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and spoken English per VA standards.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with active RN license.
• Experience in hospital-based education or nurse education programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional training for nursing staff in clinical and outpatient settings.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and develop targeted educational plans.
• Coordinate orientation for new staff and assess progress during onboarding.
• Serve as trainer/consultant for Redi program and BLS/ALS certification.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to evaluate education initiatives.
