Job summary

Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington is seeking a Clinical Educator RN to build and sustain education programs across ambulatory clinics in Washington state. You will design instructor-led courses and e-learning modules, conduct assessments, and establish standards that shape quality of care while aligning with nursing standards and regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Nursing with 3 years of clinical education experience, and possess a WA RN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years experience or equivalent knowledge.
  • Washington RN License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years' experience in clinical education in healthcare or direct nursing care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and sustain clinical education programs and training initiatives for ambulatory clinics.
  • Design instructor-led courses and e-learning modules.
  • Conduct learning assessments and establish best practice standards.
  • Ensure caregivers are equipped, confident, and compliant with ambulatory care policies and nursing standards.

From designing instructor-led courses and e-learning modules to conducting learning assessments and establishing best practice standards, your work will ensure every caregiver on our team is equipped, confident, and ready to meet the evolving needs of our patients - all in alignment with ambulatory care policies, nursing standards, and state and federal regulations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's DegreeinNursing with minimum of 3 years experience or Professional level of knowledge equivalent to that acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 3 years' experience in clinical education in healthcare setting and/or direct nursing care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree: Strong preference for an advanced degree in Nursing, Education, or Business/Health.
  • Teaching degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • 2 years Ambulatory Care and/or medical group practice setting experience.
