Job summary

Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington is seeking a Clinical Educator RN to build the competency of nurses and caregivers across our ambulatory clinics. You will develop, implement, and sustain education programs that prepare staff to meet evolving patient needs and comply with policies and regulations.

From instructor-led courses to e-learning, you will assess learning outcomes and establish best-practice standards, ensuring every caregiver is equipped and confident to deliver

Qualifications

  • Active Washington RN license upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification at hire.
  • At least 3 years in clinical education or direct nursing care.

As a Clinical Educator RN at Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington, you'll develop, implement, and sustain clinical education programs and training initiatives that directly shape the quality of care delivered across our ambulatory clinics. From designing instructor-led courses and e-learning modules to conducting learning assessments and establishing best practice standards, your work will ensure every caregiver on our team is equipped, confident, and ready to meet the evolving needs of our patients — all in alignment with ambulatory care policies, nursing standards, and state and federal regulations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with minimum of 3 years experience or Professional level of knowledge equivalent to that acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

  • 3 years' experience in clinical education in healthcare setting and/or direct nursing care experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Strong preference for an advanced degree in Nursing, Education, or Business/Health.

  • Teaching degree or equivalent education/experience.

  • 2 years Ambulatory Care and/or medical group practice setting experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position: $52.26 - $81.13. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
