Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett seeks a Clinical Educator RN to influence professional growth in nursing through education, mentoring, and role modeling. You will function as an educator, change agent, facilitator, consultant and researcher to advance evidence-based nursing practice.

You will support bedside nurses’ development and empowerment, aligning with Providence’s patient-focused, whole-person care culture and mission of caring for everyone in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or active enrollment with projected completion within 18 months from hire date.
• Washington RN license required upon hire.

The clinical educator is a registered nurse with expertise in education who influences professional role, competence and professional growth of nurses in a variety of settings. The clinical educator serves as an educator, change agent, facilitator, consultant and researcher. The Clinical Educator supports the development of bedside nurses and fosters empowerment through knowledge and skills to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidence-based nursing practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and
• Master's Degree in Nursing or actively enrolled in program, projected completion 18 months from date of hire
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 years related clinical experience in area of specialty
• Adult Education – course development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in nursing core specialty upon hire
• Formal educator experience
• Leadership experience
• Simulation (high-fidelity and low-fidelity experience)

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
