Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) seeks a Nurse Educator to advance nursing practice and patient care quality. You will lead orientation for new nurses and mentor staff to promote knowledge, skills, and professional development.

The role is based in New York's Southern Tier, with day shifts and a compensation range of $40.70–$61.05 per hour, depending on experience. A BSN is required; MS preferred, along with NY RN licensure and CPR within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3 years nursing practice in clinical setting.
• NY RN license required; CPR within 3 months of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred; teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational experiences to promote competent nursing practice and quality patient care.
• Coordinate orientation for new nursing staff and assist in role assimilation.
• Support ongoing knowledge and skill development of nursing staff.
