Job summary

UNM Hospital is seeking a full-time TNCC instructor-preferred educator to join the Clinical Education department. The role focuses on assessing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for hospital components, spanning neonatal to geriatric patient care.

Qualifications

Essential: nursing education background and clinical expertise.
Experience in nursing education or staff development preferred.
RN licensure in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate educational programs for hospital operations.
Identify educational needs and gaps among staff and departments.
Develop curricula, strategies, and resources aligned with policies and quality indicators.
Implement curricula using adult learning principles and ensure a safe learning environment.
Evaluate outcomes and revise plans based on feedback and effectiveness.
Promote ethics, leadership, and evidence-based practice within education activities.
