Job summary
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking an Educator-Nursing to join our Clinical Education department in Effingham, IL. The role delivers in-depth nursing knowledge and skill demonstrations to promote education and development among direct care providers, elevating patient care quality.
Schedule is full-time, 40 hours weekly, 8:00-4:30, with travel to Shelbyville about one day per week. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; Master's preferred; RN licensure, BLS required, ACLS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice plus 3 years clinical experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- Master's degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
- Four years of staff nurse or healthcare experience is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Educator role providing in-depth knowledge and demonstration of nursing skills.
- Promote education and development of direct care providers to enhance patient care quality.
