Job summary
AdventHealth Central Florida in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that support nursing practice and competency.
In this full-time, on-site role you will conduct learning needs assessments, develop evidence-based curricula, facilitate classes and simulations, and mentor nurses while partnering with nursing leadership to improve quality, safety, and career growth.
Qualifications
- RN licensed in Florida with BSN; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience designing curricula and evaluating outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for nursing practice.
- Conduct learning needs assessments and develop evidence-based curricula.
- Facilitate classes and simulations, coaching and mentoring at unit level.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve quality and safety.
- Track outcomes, maintain documentation, support certification preparation.
