Job summary

Venesco, LLC is seeking a Nurse Educator to support a DoD training program in Dayton, Ohio on a contract basis. The role focuses on educational design, classroom and clinical instruction, and readiness initiatives for USAFSAM's En Route Care Training Department at Wright-Patterson AFB.

US citizenship is required. The contractor will develop CME credits, coordinate program start-up, monitor training effectiveness, and ensure compliance with Air Force medical readiness guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted licensed Registered Nurse with professional certification in clinical (e.g., CEN or CCRN) or education specialty.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 6 years of experience in the field.
• Knowledge of emergency room patient management and trauma health principles.
• Knowledge of military healthcare standards and instructional delivery within DoD contexts preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in Emergency Room/Critical Care with deployment patient care experience; management experience required.
• Experience with government contracting firms supporting the Federal government.

Responsibilities

• Provides educational/training support to USAFSAM En Route Care Training Department, covering aeromedical evacuation and critical care training for DoD personnel.
• Ensures courses meet academic standards and wartime readiness requirements; applies nursing theory and clinical expertise to program delivery.
• Coordinates all aspects of program start-up, reporting, and training effectiveness.
• Develops and monitors continuing nursing/medical education credits; contributes to policy development for Air Force Medical Readiness Program.
• Analyzes training data and provides concise reports to leadership; helps optimize training resources.
