Job summary

Luther Manor, a Life Plan Community, seeks a Training & Development Educator to lead clinical education for nursing staff across care settings. You will oversee onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing professional development while ensuring regulatory compliance and resident safety.

The role requires collaboration with leadership, quality, and infection prevention teams, and strong knowledge of Wisconsin regulations and DHS standards. Relias LMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Wisconsin DHS regulations and Nurse Practice Act standards.
• Experience designing and delivering employee development programs
• Onboarding and competency validation experience
• Ability to assess learning needs and address performance gaps
• Ability to coordinate with quality and infection prevention teams

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate education programs aligned with evidence-based practice.
• Support onboarding and onboarding touchpoints for new hires and trainers.
• Develop and maintain competency validation processes and annual skills assessments.
• Identify performance gaps and create targeted education plans.
• Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and resident safety initiatives.
• Conduct audits and report data for quality assurance and performance improvement.
• Serve as clinical mentor and resource for nursing staff.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to foster a learning culture.
• Prepare training materials and utilize Relias LMS.
