Job summary

The Oklahoma Board of Nursing is seeking a Nurse Education Consultant to lead regulatory education for prelicensure nursing programs in Oklahoma City. You will interact with state and federal agencies and educate stakeholders on the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and related rules.

You will evaluate programs for compliance, conduct surveys, prepare Board reports, and collaborate with education leaders and staff to ensure high standards in nursing education and regulation.

Qualifications

• Requires unencumbered, current Oklahoma RN license.
• Master’s degree in nursing with ten years RN experience and four years in nursing education leadership.
• Current Oklahoma driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Regulate prelicensure nursing education; educate on ONPA and rules.
• Evaluate programs for compliance with statutes and board rules.
• Coordinate surveys and prepare Board reports; follow up with programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at local, state, regional and national meetings.
