Job summary

Norwalk Hospital Association is seeking a Nurse Educator to assess, develop, and implement educational programs for Medical Surgical personnel including General Medicine, General Surgery, Telemetry, and Oncology units. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provides educational programs and competency Evaluation for Medical Surgical units.
Serves as mentor and clinical resource to nursing staff and leadership.
Collaborates with Nursing leadership on budget and credential monitoring.
Coordinates unit-based and online education plans with Nurse Managers.
Ensures compliance with contact hour programming and regulatory requirements.
Manages staff development, onboarding, and student nurse experiences.
Performs other duties as assigned.
