- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 4-7 years of technical experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
Responsibilities
- Assesses learner characteristics including learning styles and needs for program development; creates an effective learning environment.
- Functions in roles of teacher and facilitator; plans nursing professional development programs that are culturally relevant.
- Uses research and evidence-based practice to inform education and program evaluation.
- Maintains visibility in clinical settings; advocates for staff development programs to support learner and organizational needs.
- Designs and implements evaluation plans and budgets for programs; promotes professional development participation.
