Qualifications

• BSN or BS in nursing required; MSN/MS with nursing major preferred.
• Licensed in the area of specialty in good standing with the State of Michigan.
• BLS required within orientation; BLS Instructor status within one year of hire.
• Advanced life support Instructor status as department needs.

Responsibilities

• Learning Facilitator: use educational design to bridge knowledge, skills, and practice gaps.
• Change Agent: drive micro to macro process improvements using project management.
• Mentor: support life-long learning and professional development across settings.
• Leader: influence interprofessional practice and learning environments and nursing practice.
• Champion for Scientific Inquiry: promote evidence-based practice and patient care improvements.
• Advocate for NPD Specialty: support and demonstrate nursing professional development as a specialty.
• Partner for Practice Transitions: assist nurses and healthcare team members across learning and practice environments.
• Life Support: oversee Life Support programs, ensure regulatory compliance and program deployment.
