Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Nursing Education Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of education programs aligned with annual needs assessments. The role emphasizes collaboration with operational leaders to advance nursing practice and professional development.

The candidate will support Magnet and Pathways to Excellence initiatives, develop system-wide education programs, and promote evidence-based practice and nursing research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license from an accredited program is required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with leadership or education project work.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical information systems.
• Knowledge of Nursing Professional Development Practice Model and adult learning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate education plans and programs from the annual needs assessment.
• Establish collaborative relationships with operational leaders on educational initiatives.
• Support Nursing Excellence pathways to Magnet and Pathways to Excellence designation.
• Develop system nursing education and professional development programs.
• Support evidence-based practice and nursing research activities.
• Provide staff education and preceptor support and development.
• Apply learning design principles and integrate learning technology.
