Trilogy Health Services in Evansville, IN is seeking a Nurse Director in Training to learn and assist in managing the Nursing Services Department, ensuring quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will support the Director of Health Services, participate in rounds, monitor medications, and help recruit nursing staff, with opportunities for growth through structured training and the blue-badge style onboarding.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree
• Experience: 3-5 years
• Must have and maintain a current unencumbered, valid state RN license and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Learn policies and procedures that govern the level of cares within your Health Campus.
• Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) by authorized government agencies.
• Follow safety regulations, programs, and policies, and procedures.
• Support campuses, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
• Follow the company's policies regarding resident complaints and/or grievances that indicate the action taken to resolve the complaint and the status of the complaint.
• Learn to determine staffing needs of the nursing service department to meet the residents' needs.
• Assist in recruitment and selection of nursing service personnel.
• Participate in daily rounds to ensure staff perform according to standards.
• Review and audit resident electronic health records for accuracy and alignment with resident wishes.
• Participate in daily rounds to assess resident nursing needs.
• Monitor medication passes and treatments to ensure proper administration and timing.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Identify weekend management coverage and on-call duties on a rotating basis.
• Learn to lead campus programs such as CCM, CAR, and QAPI.
• Other duties as assigned.
