The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Denials Management Coordinator to support revenue cycle operations by reviewing, analyzing, and resolving insurance denials. The role works with clinical, financial, coding, and payer teams to improve reimbursement outcomes.

The position requires RN credentials with a BSN preferred, and experience in appeals, nurse auditing, or utilization review. Remote work with onsite needs, salary 89k–133k USD, in a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• RN required, BSN preferred.
• Experience with front-end and back-end appeals, nurse auditing, utilization review, or business office operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze invoices and patient accounts to prepare denials appeals.
• Coordinate with payers and clinical teams to support appeal requests.
• Collaborate with Case Management and providers to ensure medical necessity documentation is captured.
• Update patient accounting system with insurance, demographics, and service codes; document outcomes.
