Job summary

Registered Nurse Delegator role in Seattle/Tacoma area offers per diem/contract work delivering nurse delegation in home care. You will assess client needs, delegate tasks to qualified caregivers, and supervise to ensure safety and quality in clients' homes.

Requires active WA RN license (or compact), experience in home health or private duty care preferred, strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation, and willingness to travel across King and Pierce counties.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Washington State RN license, or active Multistate/Compact RN license.
• Experience in home health, private duty nursing, long-term care, or community-based care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent written documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client homes across Seattle and Tacoma service areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home client assessments to determine delegation appropriateness.
• Delegate nursing tasks to qualified caregivers and provide supervision.
• Verify caregiver credentials (NA-R, NA-C, or HCA).
• Maintain accurate client records and reporting per policy and standards.
• Communicate changes in client condition with leadership and providers.
