Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
  • Knowledge of correctional healthcare compliance and regulatory standards (NCCHC, ACA, NJ Admin Code 10-A, PBNDS).
  • Experience in training and development.
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provides education and serves as a resource to management, medical staff, and patient care services.
  • Stays current with regulatory updates and ensures compliance.
  • Develops and maintains facility-specific policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates corrective action plans, audit tools, and monitoring activities.
  • Assists with CQI activities, action plans, and compliance monitoring.
  • Provides on-site coverage as needed under supervision.
