Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, human services, psychology, or a related field. Each additional year of approved formal education may substitute for work experience.
• Five years' experience as a registered nurse in a health care facility or related field. Additional years may substitute for education.
• Current RN license in New Hampshire; CPR certification; national Nursing Administration certification or specialty relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to mission, philosophy, goals and objectives for the Hospital and Department of Nursing.
• Manages on-site leadership as the person-in-charge in collaboration with executive-on-call.
• Ensures safe, therapeutic environments and adherence to hospital policies 24/7.
• Provides staff training, consultation, and development; supports unit-based and hospital-wide nursing tasks.
• Engages in recruitment, hiring, and staff development; supports staffing strategies for patient outcomes.
