Job summary

PromptCare, Inc. seeks experienced Registered Home Infusion Nurses to provide in-home infusion care across New Jersey counties. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, administer IV therapies, and educate patients and families.

The role reports to the Nurse Manager and requires sign-off on license, liability, and CPR, with a flexible per diem schedule including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in New Jersey in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of IV therapies and vascular access devices (PIV, Mid-Line, PICC, tunneled lines, ports).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a home infusion nurse or equivalent home-healthcare experience.
• ED experience preferred.
• Proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, and infusion pumps.
• Heart failure nurse training highly desirable.
• Strong pediatric peripheral IV skills preferred.
• CRNI certification preferred.
• Experience with IV therapies (IVIG and Biologics) is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial nursing assessments for home infusion therapy.
• Train patients/caregivers on procedures and equipment.
• Develop and revise care plans with the healthcare team.
• Visit patients, document compliance, and provide direct care.
• Assume on-call duties and manage patient supplies.
• Coordinate care with other agencies and counsel patients on therapy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists for therapy adjustments.
• Plan efficient daily routes and submit nursing notes promptly.
• Triages field problems and adheres to SOPs and regulations.
• Deliver high-quality service and submit travel expense reports.
• Provide nursing services as requested, including weekends and evenings.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the state inquiring of employment and in good standing
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Professional Liability Insurance
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of PIV, Mid-Line, PICC Line, Tunneled Catheters, and Ports
• At least 2 years’ experience as a home infusion nurse, or equivalent experience working in another field-based home nursing organization, is required
• ED experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, and infusion pumps
• Specific training and/or certification as a heart failure nurse is highly desirable
• Strong pediatric peripheral IV skills preferred
• Certified Nurse Infusionist (CRNI) preferred
• Experience with the following IV therapies is a major advantage: intravenous immunoglobulins and Biologics

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
