Promptcare is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Home Infusion Nurses to join our team of healthcare professionals. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans and administer IV medications in patients' homes. The role requires strong communication, driving to multiple counties, and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Reports to: Nurse Manager. Location: Cumberland, Salem, Cape May, Atlantic, and Gloucester Counties.

Qualifications

• Must be a RN in good standing with an active license.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Professional liability insurance is required.
• CPR certification and IV therapy knowledge essential.
• At least 2 years’ home infusion nursing experience.
• ED experience preferred; comfortable with vascular access.
• Training or certification as a heart failure nurse is a plus.
• Strong pediatric peripheral IV skills preferred.
• CRNI certification preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments for home infusion therapy.
• Train patients and caregivers on procedures and equipment.
• Develop and revise care plans with the healthcare team.
• Visit patients, document compliance, provide direct care.
• Take on-call duties and manage nursing supplies.
• Coordinate care with other agencies and counsel on therapy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists for therapy adjustments.
• Plan efficient daily routes and submit notes promptly.
• Triages field problems and adheres to SOPs and regulations.
• Deliver high quality service and track travel expenses.
• Maintain a positive attitude and participate in activities.
• Provide care including weekends and evenings as needed.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the state inquiring of employment and in good standing
• Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Professional Liability Insurance
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of PIV, Mid-Line, PICC Line, Tunneled Catheters, and Ports
• At least 2 years’ experience as a home infusion nurse, or equivalent experience working in another field-based home nursing organization, is required
• ED experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, and infusion pumps
• Specific training and/or certification as a heart failure nurse is highly desirable
• Strong pediatric peripheral IV skills preferred
• Certified Nurse Infusionist (CRNI) preferred

Job Responsibilities, Included But Not Limited To
