UTMB Health seeks a Proficient Clinician to join the Nursing & Care Management team on a Day Shift at 0449 - TDCJ Hospital in Galveston, TX. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, four years of clinical RN experience, and an approved specialty certification, with an active Texas RN license and current BLS.

The incumbent will lead the unit, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and develop evidence-based nursing standards to improve patient care.

Formación

• Must have RN license in Texas and current BLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Four years of clinical RN experience.
• Approved specialty certification.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the unit as a clinical leader and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient care aligned with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based standards of practice for the specialty area.
• Respond quickly to emergent or unusual situations and guide team actions.
