UTMB Health in Galveston, Texas is seeking an Advanced Beginner Clinician (RN) to provide patient care in alignment with the Texas Nurse Practice Act. This role focuses on expanding knowledge and skills within a specialty unit, balancing dependent and interdependent decision making.

You will participate in nursing processes, care coordination, education, and evidence-based practice, delivering culturally sensitive care while supporting institutional initiatives and patient safety.

Formación

• RN with six months of clinical RN experience or completion of probationary NC I period.
• Must hold and maintain Texas RN license or valid permit to practice in Texas.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents the daily care of assigned patients.
• Identifies nursing diagnoses/patient care needs; develops and revises care plans as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and UTMB policies.
• Performs routine technical procedures/skills in the specialty area.
• Provides patient/family instruction and health promotion based on learning needs.
