Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a nurse leader to function as a unit-based clinical resource and educator in Atlanta. The role focuses on staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement.

You will support established standards of care, promote clinical practice, and serve as a role model of nursing excellence. Typical work hours are 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with a full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in Georgia in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in the unit
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association
• Color vision acuity as required for the role

Responsibilities

• Serve as unit-based clinical resource and educator.
• Lead staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement.
• Support established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education.
• Model clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
