PromptCare in Broward County, Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Home Infusion Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy and patient education. You will assess and plan patient care, administer IV medications, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure in Florida, strong IV skills, and the ability to work on-call. Travel and documentation are key responsibilities in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of employment and in good standing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Professional Liability Insurance and CPR Certification are required.
• Experience with PIV, Mid-Line, PICC Line and ports is essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ home infusion nursing experience; ED experience preferred.
• CRNI certification and heart failure training are highly desirable.
• Strong pediatric IV skills are preferred.

Responsabilités

As a Registered Home Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in their homes. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans and administering intravenous medications and treatments. You will also be responsible for educating patients and their families about home care, medications, and treatments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a dedication to providing the highest quality of care. Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the state inquiring of employment and in good standing
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Professional Liability Insurance
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of PIV, Mid-Line, PICC Line, Tunneled Catheters, and Ports
• At least 2 years’ experience as a home infusion nurse, or equivalent experience working in another field-based home nursing organization, is required
• ED experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, and infusion pumps
• Specific training and/or certification as a heart failure nurse is highly desirable
• Strong pediatric peripheral IV skills preferred
• Certified Nurse Infusionist (CRNI) preferred
• Experience with the following IV therapies is a major advantage: inotropes, intravenous immunoglobulin, and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)

Job Responsibilities, Included But Not Limited To

• Delivers "white glove" service and submits travel expense reports
• Projects a positive attitude and participates in employee activities
• Provides nursing services as requested, including weekends and evenings
• Performs other duties as assigned
