PromptCare, Inc. invites experienced Registered Home Infusion Nurses to join our team. You will assess patients in their homes, administer IV medications, educate families, and collaborate with a care team to plan and revise treatment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in Florida and in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of IV therapies and vascular access devices.
• At least 2 years’ home infusion nurse experience or equivalent.
• ED experience preferred.
• Proficient in IV insertion and vascular access.
• Heart failure nurse training highly desirable.
• Pediatric IV skills preferred.
• Experience with inotropes, TPN is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial nursing assessments for home infusion therapy.
• Trains patients/caregivers on procedures and equipment.
• Develops and revises care plans with the healthcare team.
• Visits patients, documents compliance, and provides direct care.
• Assumes on-call duties and manages patient supplies.
• Coordinates care with other agencies and counsels on therapy.
• Collaborates with Pharmacists for therapy adjustments.
• Plans efficient daily routes and submits nursing notes promptly.
• Triages field problems and adheres to SOPs and regulations.
• Delivers high quality service and submits travel expense reports.
• Maintains a positive attitude and participates in activities.
• Provides nursing services including weekends and evenings.

As a Registered Home Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in their homes. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans and administering intravenous medications and treatments. You will also be responsible for educating patients and their families about home care, medications, and treatments. Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the state inquiring of employment and in good standing
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Professional Liability Insurance
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of PIV, Mid-Line, PICC Line, Tunneled Catheters, and Ports
• At least 2 years’ experience as a home infusion nurse, or equivalent experience working in another field-based home nursing organization, is required
• ED experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, and infusion pumps
• Specific training and/or certification as a heart failure nurse is highly desirable
• Strong pediatric peripheral IV skills preferred
• Experience with the following IV therapies is a major advantage: inotropes, intravenous immunoglobulin, and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
