Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a Nurse Clinical Educator for the Family Birthing unit. The educator serves as consultant, researcher, instructional designer, and interprofessional collaborator across the enterprise.

The role focuses on learning opportunities with high impact, training delivery, and evaluation using evidence-based design. Active involvement in local, state, and national engagements may occur.

Qualifications

• State NM or Compact State Nursing license required.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; higher degrees preferred.
• Specialty nursing/education certifications preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC or other certifications may be required depending on area.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical care experience; OB/Family Birthing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports educational components of organizational clinical initiatives and practices.
• Delivers educational activities based on learning needs assessments and instructional design.
• Leads projects to bridge performance gaps system-wide with evidence-based approaches.
• Identifies national trends in education design, measurement, and reporting outcomes.
• May participate in local, state, and national speaking engagements.
