Job summary

UW Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse (RN) Case Manager to join University Hospital in Madison, WI. This 100% FTE role features four 10-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation, onsite work, and a focus on safe, timely discharge planning.

You will leverage ED nursing expertise, case management skills, and strong assessment and critical thinking to coordinate care, understand levels of care, and connect patients with appropriate resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred.

  • Enjoy learning, asking questions, and working within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Required
  • Master's Degree Master’s degree in Nursing or healthcare related field Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3 years Three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience. Required
  • Recent experience as a hospital-based Nurse Case Manager Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • BLS Required upon hire
  • ACMA certification as a Case Manager Preferred
