Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Plymouth is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts in the Birthplace unit. The 12-bed private room labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum area includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, CNMs, pediatricians and RN staff.

You will provide care for labor, delivery, postpartum and newborns, with emphasis on fetal monitoring and lactation education. The role requires MA RN licensure, Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby experience, BLS/ACLS upon hire, and NRP

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Mother/Baby experience required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competent care of patients in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborns.
• Perform advanced fetal monitoring and breastfeeding education.
• Fulfill OR scrub and circulating roles as assigned.
