Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Birthplace/OB unit in Plymouth, MA. This 24-hour per week night shift role involves care across labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn areas on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.

Required are MA RN licensure, Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby experience, and certifications such as BLS and ACLS; NRP is also required by hire.

Responsibilities

The Unit also has a 2 bed triage and 6 bed postpartum area. Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles.**Minimum Requirements:*** Current Massachusetts RN license* Labor and Delivery experience required* Mother/Baby experience required* AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire* NRP required upon hire* Evidence of recent AWHONN EFM continuing education required upon hire**Recommended Requirements:*** OR Circulating & Scrub experience preferred* Experience working in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment preferred* Willingness to cross-train in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment required*Application Instructions: Applicants will only be considered for the specific Job Posting to which they apply.
