Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Birthplace unit, a 12-bed private room labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum area. The role includes weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.

Requirements include a MA RN license, labor and delivery and mother/baby experience, and BLS/ACLS/NRP on hire, with ongoing AWHONN EFM education. OR Circulating/Scrub experience is a plus. Pay ranges from $37.14 to $82.22 per hour under union terms.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Mother/Baby experience required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
• NRP required upon hire.
• Evidence of recent AWHONN EFM continuing education required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn.
• Perform advanced fetal monitoring.
• Provide breastfeeding education.
• Maintain neonatal resuscitation readiness and certifications.
• Fulfill OR scrub and circulating roles as needed.
