Job summary

Kettering Health is hiring a Nurse Assistant for KH Washington Township on a part-time, 12-hour night shift. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and maintain a safe, clean environment under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

No prior work experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire, and Ohio STNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
• Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification preferred and in good standing.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Nurse Assistant provides essential support to nursing staff by assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role contributes directly to patient comfort, safety, and quality of care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:
