Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking a registered nurse for night-shift, full-time work at KH Washington Township. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health care team, ensuring safety, quality, and continuity across varied settings.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Ohio RN license and BLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days). Preference for BSN and ACLS or relevant specialty knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Current, valid RN license in Ohio with BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Required Work Experience:

• None required
• clinical experience during nursing program accepted.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.
