Job summary

The Nurse Assistant performs routine duties within the training and certification limits, caring for hospitalized patients on the 9th floor Inpatient Rehab team under supervision of a Registered Nurse. Minimum requirements include Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant, or equivalent training.

Job Description

The Nurse Assistant performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant, or equivalent training. Credentials: Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
