Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the NU 3100 Med Tele unit. The mid-night shift runs from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, Monday to Friday with every other weekend. You will support patient care under RN supervision and help ensure patient safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Nurse Assistant program or be in a nursing program, and BLS Heart Saver certification. CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
• CNA certification preferred.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR
  • currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR
  • Foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR
  • Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR
  • At least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
