Job summary

Henry Ford Health Novi Hospital is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision, ensuring safety and comfort for patients. This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and ongoing learning in a hospital setting.

A high school diploma or GED and completion of a Nurse Assistant program are required; current enrollment in a nursing program is acceptable. CNA certification is preferred and growth within the Henry Ford system is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or current enrollment in a nursing program with relevant coursework.
• Foreign-trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license may apply.
• Medical Assistant program background is acceptable.
• CNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
