Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA seeks a Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in the Neuro Stroke unit.

This part-time, per diem Tier II role covers a 12-hour day shift (7am–7:30pm) and requires a 72-hour commitment every six weeks, including three weekend shifts and holiday coverage. Responsibilities include feeding assistance, vital signs, specimen collection, safety rounding, tubing and equipment transport, and collaboration with the care team to ensure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• PA Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) OR completed a minimum of one clinical rotation.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under RN guidance.
• Obtains supplies to ensure patient rooms are ready for admission and cleared on discharge.
• Assists with feeding and dysphagia precautions; records intake and output.
