St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a part-time Nurse Assistant for the Neuro Stroke MS1A unit. The role supports direct patient care under RN guidance on a 12-hour day shift (7am–7:30pm) in a 24-bed unit.

You will assist with meals, mobility, and daily activities while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CNA registration or clinical rotation experience, BLS, and 1 year of related experience or EMT consideration.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PA Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) OR completed clinical rotations in an accredited nursing program required.
• 1 year of relevant experience and/or EMT is acceptable in lieu of certification/rotation.
• BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities following RN instructions and physician orders.
• Obtain supplies to ensure patient rooms are ready for admission and cleared on discharge/transfer.
• Demonstrates ability to feed patients and monitor intake/output with dysphasia precautions.
• Collects specimens (urine routine, clean catch, Foley, stools for C. difficile) as directed.
• Applies heat/cold packs and supportive devices as instructed.
• Participates in hourly rounding to promote safety and comfort.
