Job summary

Henry Ford Health is hiring a Nurse Assistant for the Macomb Hospital location in Clinton Township, MI. The role involves midnight scheduling with 2x12 hour shifts and every other weekend, supporting patient safety and comfort under RN supervision.

Applicants should have a Nurse Assistant program completion or be enrolled in a nursing program, with BLS Heart Saver certification during orientation. CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program, or enrollment in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
• BLS Heart Saver certification during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Provide input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Uphold Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.
