Applicants should have a nurse assistant program or be enrolled in nursing studies, with various pathways including foreign RN licensing or medical assistant training. Weekend availability is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing.
• Foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.

Schedule:PRN commitment 3 shifts in a 6-week period. 2 of 3 shifts need to be weekends. Holidays per unit-based schedule. 7a-730p - 12-hour shifts for commitment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
