Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or current enrollment in a nursing program.
• Foreign trained and licensed RN requires Michigan RN license.
• Medical Assistant program with or without experience acceptable.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specific patient care duties under RN supervision.
• Assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
