Job summary

Henry Ford Health's Jackson hospital campus is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support patient safety, comfort, and well-being under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily tasks and respond to patient needs in a compassionate, teamwork-focused environment.

Required: high school diploma or GED, completion of a Nurse Assistant program (or active nursing studies) and the ability to obtain BLS Heart Saver certification during orientation. CNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or enrollment in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
• BLS Heart Saver Certification must be obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
